Considered part of the B complex group of vitamins, biotin is
necessary for the metabolism of carbohydrates, fats, and amino acids (the
building blocks of protein). It also helps in the proper development of bone,
feather and skin. Protein builds body tissues and is essential for muscle
development. It helps in the normal body function and repair damaged cells. It
also gives heat and energy and protects body from diseases. Proteins are made
up of different combinations of chemicals called amino acids. All amino acids
form part of the body cell and the right combination enhances the function of
protein in the body. Magnesium is needed for the efficient production of
enzymes. It is also involved in protein metabolism, utilization of fats and
carbohydrates and is necessary for proper nerve function, and maintaining
healthy teeth and gums.
Indication
For optimum development of skeletal and muscular structure, including internal
organs, of growing stags.
Feeding Guide
For 1 month to 3 month old chicks, make feeds available at all
times. For 3 to 6 months, give 3 tbsp per head 2x a day. For best results, soak
in an equal amount of clean water for 5 minutes before feeding. Always give
clean drinking water after feeding.
